The patented ANSI 40 Die Set cuts #40 ANSI chain 1/2" (0.500) pitch single strand roller chain. Smith Craft Products die sets for each chain size are easily interchangeable; changing from one die set to another can be accomplished in a few seconds!

This die set is compatible with the EZ Breaker Base 100047 and the Hydraulic EZ Breaker Base 100555.

Die set

We have been using smithcraft products for at least 8 years at least it is a big help in our manufacturing process we just bought a 40 die set very easy to switch from 1 set to the other I would recommend buying the backing plate with any set you buy. The first one I bought I had to drill and tap the die myself but now they come ready to install from the factory if you cut a lot of chain this is the way to go just make sure you clean out the track where you break the chain as a link left there will break the pins in the die set they have repair sets and spare parts readily available as you can tell I’m a very satisfied customer thank you smithcraft
